Do I need a passport for travel outside of the United States?
Yes, New regulations will require all U.S. citizens traveling beyond the border to have a valid passport starting January 2008. A birth certificate and/or a driver's license will NOT be sufficient. If you are not a US Citizen, you need to contact your local Consulate office for documentation requirements. If you are under the age of 18 at the time of travel you will also need a notarized letter of permission from both parents. Traveling within the 50 U.S. states does NOT require a passport.
Are the trips chaperoned?
No, you are treated as adults. We do have staff on site and a 24-hour emergency number is set up for any questions or needs a student may have. Please remember, you are responsible for your own actions. However we do welcome parents and/or administrators to come along on any trip and we have incentives for them to go as well!
Will someone meet our group at the airport upon arrival?
Yes, you will be met by our staff and transported to your hotel. The staff conducts a short orientation upon arrival explaining the special discounts, optional tours, week's activities and the do's and don'ts related to your destination.
